Print a TITE-BOIN Decision Table
Source:R/print.tite_boin_decision_table.R
print.tite_boin_decision_table.RdDisplay the decision table produced by tite_boin_decision_table
in the layout of the published tables: one row per number of patients
treated, number of DLTs and range of pending patients sharing a decision,
with the boundaries on the follow-up statistic in the Escalate, Stay and
De-escalate columns.
Usage
# S3 method for class 'tite_boin_decision_table'
print(x, cohort_size = NULL, digits = 2, ...)Arguments
- x
An object of class
tite_boin_decision_table.- cohort_size
Integer scalar or
NULL. When supplied, only the sample sizes that are multiples ofcohort_sizeare shown, which is how the published tables are laid out.- digits
Integer scalar. Number of decimal places of the boundaries. Defaults to 2, as in the published tables.
- ...
Further arguments, currently ignored.
Details
A boundary shown as ">= 2.15" under Escalate means that the dose is
escalated when the follow-up statistic is at least 2.15; the statistic is
STFT for method = "imputation" and ESS for method = "ess".
"Suspend if >= 4.23" under Escalate marks an escalation blocked by
min_completed. When the table was built with a positive
min_follow_up, an escalation with pending patients carries the
condition on MF, for example ">= 0.22 & MF >= 0.25"; accrual is
suspended when the condition on the follow-up statistic holds but the one
on MF does not.
A data frame that no longer has the columns or attributes of a decision table, for example after selecting columns, is printed as a plain data frame.
